Byrnes & Keller was trial counsel for a major tobacco company in a consumer protection and antitrust case brought by the State of Washington. The case is believed to have been the largest civil damages case ever tried in the State of Washington. After ten weeks of trial, because of a nationwide settlement, the trial was terminated.
