Profile

Jofrey McWilliam’s practice focuses on tort and business litigation, including product liability, wrongful death, professional negligence, real property, breach of contract, consumer protection, lemon law, and general business disputes. Jofrey has experience litigating large, multi-district cases involving complex issues of federal practice and procedure and potential application of foreign law, cases involving significant development of expert opinion regarding product design and manufacture, and less complex cases involving simple claims of breach of contract, warranty, consumer protection and the like. Jofrey has experience practicing before various federal and state courts around the country, and his judicial clerkships at both the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and the Washington State Supreme Court give him a unique perspective into Washington federal trial and state appellate practice. Prior to joining Byrnes & Keller, Jofrey was with Perkins Coie LLP for four years, where his practice emphasized aviation product liability defense.
